Angry Chicks is a spicy fried chicken restaurant that opened up in Citrus Heights a little while ago. Notorious for having mild to crazy hot chicken flavors, we had to give it a try. I got a hot level chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and Canark got the tender combo. I like to think we have a high spice tolerance, but this was really something else. We couldn't actually finish our food and our mouths were on fire after one bite. It's not so much the chicken that was spicy, but it's the marinade, like the spice on top of it, that was just crazy. Mac and cheese was really good, I have to admit. Definitely helped dilute the burning sensation. in my mouth but we just could not finish our food it was too hot no hate to the restaurant whatsoever it was just the level that was too spicy
