@cafoodiee's Review of Barrel House Tavern - Sausalito, CA

Sausalito is one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. I love coming here and looking at the gorgeous view of the city. My family and I decided to try out Barrel House, a new restaurant for us, and this place very pleasantly surprised us. The interior was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have sat outside, but there was limited seating, but we still got a table inside with a really nice view. Of course, Sausalito is notorious for seafood, so they had a largely fish-based menu. My dad got an old-fashioned. Love to see the round ice cube. And we were pretty hungry, so we started out with some appetizers. We got a watermelon feta salad, which was so simple, but really, really good. I love the pickled onions. We also got these veggie cakes, which were, again, so simple, but really good. My dad got this summer linguine, which was delicious, super creamy. And my mom got this wild mushroom ravioli, which was the star of the show. We all ate so much of our dish. It was so good. I got a salmon burger, which was perfectly done. And I'd give this restaurant a 10. Everything was amazing.
