If you're slurping, then you know you've come to the right ramen spot. Muteki Ramen in Hoboken makes fresh noodles in front of the restaurant every day, serving up fantastic ramen. Of course we ordered the Muteki Ramen made with thin noodles that were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of firmness and chewiness. Combined with the rich and flavorful chicken and pork broth, it was delicious. The woodier mushrooms and bamboo shoots bring a subtle earthy flavor to the dish. We also ordered the Shoyu Ramen made with wavy noodles and a rich and savory chicken broth. Made with just the right amount of saltiness from the soy sauce and the tender and juicy chashu that pair beautifully with the broth and noodles. But we didn't stop there. We also ordered their muteki wings, made with fried chicken, doused in yuzu miso sauce, and these wings were crispy, juicy, and the yuzu miso sauce had a nice, tangy, sweet taste. These were one of our favorite Takoyaki balls. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, with tender pieces of octopus. All together with a sweet and savory sauce created a truly addictive dish. eating all this, we learned one thing, no ramen, no peace.
