@startrader's Review of Hong Kong Express - Santa Ana, CA

Today I was in Tustin around lunchtime, so I stopped by Hong Kong Express to grab some food. This is probably one of my favorite Chinese takeout spots. They pile every plate high. I went for the classic orange chicken and broccoli beef with fried rice and chow mein, and this thing was full. First, the orange chicken. Maybe it's just because I got there right as they were putting on a new batch, but it was super crispy, which is always great. Honestly, the sauce is a little thick and a little too sweet but it's still pretty good next the broccoli beef and these were actually pretty good there was a nice bite to the broccoli and the beef was super tender i'm a big chow mein fan but it is something that's hard to get right to be honest these were a little bland the vegetables that were in it were good but there wasn't quite enough and same with the rice a little boring but honestly nothing that a little hot sauce can't fix if you're in the tustin area i would recommend checking this place out so i'm giving hong kong Express, a 7.5 out of 10.
