@eatingaround's Review of The Proud Bird - Hawthorne, CA

So you're at LAX and you need to kill some time before your friend arrives. May I suggest coming here? Proud Bird is a really interesting space. Honestly, you're supposed to come here for the restaurants, but hey, free parking, tons and tons of history about a local aircraft, and just an amazing place to go and kill time if you're going to be near LAX. Tons of planes you can go and check out of. A really cool place to go and sit down and watch the planes go. Honestly, they could charge for this place a couple bucks, cover, and I would be happy to pay it. Oh, and they also have Lasada's BBQ here if you're into that.
