Emilio's Bellotto is an old school Italian restaurant that's been in Nolita since the 1950s. It's definitely a huge celebrity hangout, but the locals also love it and frequent it all the time as well. They bring out this amazing house made focaccia when you first sit down and it's like a big warm hug. It's so delicious and divine. I was lucky enough to be here on the night where they did the meat lasagna special, which they don't really run too often because the chef told me that it just takes way too long to make and it's a super intensive process but i am so lucky i got to try it because it was out of this world i got the chicken parm as well which is a staple there i love how the cutlet is thinly pounded so that outer edges are super golden brown and crispy and then the rest of it is just covered with loads of mozzarella cheese in their house made red sauce it's the perfect chicken parm The service is friendly. The wine list is amazing. Go.
