Hey, I recently took a trip to Italy, and I'm going to give you my take on some of the amazing foods I tried. First up, the city in Naples, where I tried the restaurant Don Michielli, one of the first and oldest pizzerias in Naples. Found in 1870, this famous restaurant often visited by celebrities, and also featured in the movie Eat, Pray, Love, still uses some of the same recipes and century-old techniques to fire their classic Neapolitan pies, which come in only four styles, margarita, marinara, casuca, and marita. Today, I'm trying a margarita pizza. Here, the dough was so thin and perfectly baked, with soft pockets of air, it could barely hold the creamy through de la cheese, and fresh pomodoro sauce and basil. You can definitely taste the freshness in all the ingredients, and even the olive oil on top tied everything together. This is definitely one of the best, if not the best, in Naples.
