@hungere-for-diy's Review of Atomic Wings - San Ramon, CA

Have you been back to Atomic Wings in San Ramon yet? If you haven't been here, you need to stop by soon. Here's our menu. Last time I was here, I got their wings. This time I got to try their buffalo chicken sandwich. The brioche bun is mayoed up and lightly toasted on their griddle. Then they add in some ranch, pickles, fried chicken breasts that are topped in buffalo sauce and topped with a bit of coleslaw and wrapped up to enjoy. Just look at that. This was ridiculously good. We also got these waffle fries that were fully loaded with mac and cheese and chicken. The chicken is hand breaded upon order, then into the fryer they go until they come out with a crispy exterior and a perfectly cooked interior. They get chopped up and tossed in buffalo sauce. The waffle fries are fried upon order. Then everything gets assembled. Fries, macaroni and cheese, topped with a buffalo fried chicken, some jalapenos to add a little more heat, and then the best part, a drizzle of ranch. Who knew that waffle fries, macaroni and cheese, and buffalo chicken could be such a great combo together. We devoured this. It was absolutely delicious. I cannot stress how delicious their chicken is here. Their chicken is never frozen, always fresh, and so juicy and tender. And of course I needed something refreshing to wash everything down with, so I got their mango lemonade. I didn't actually know that they had these lemonades and all these different flavors. I definitely have to back to try the mint one next time atomic wings also has a food truck coming soon so i'm definitely looking forward to that.
