@hungere-for-diy's Review of Somisomi - Pleasanton, California

Have you been back to Somi Somi in Pleasanton yet? I love coming here for dessert. I checked their Instagram page for their weekly flavors and the Thai tea one was back so I had to come and get it. After placing my order, I always come around and watch the abongs and taiyakis being made. They look so cute and they just make the whole place smell so good. They also have this cute wall called the photo zone where you can use as your backdrop when you're taking photos of your dessert. After your soft serve comes out, you get to add your toppings and you get a macaroon. or a strawberry. I always get their macaroon. It's so tiny and cute. The soft serve here is always so perfect. It's creamy and delicious and a little bit on the thicker side just how I like it. Then the tayakis come out. I cannot stress how good these are. The outside has a slight crisp to it and the inside is chewy almost like a mochi like texture and I always get mine with Nutella so it adds a bit of sweetness to it. They sell these in twos or fives and I really would that they sold them individually as well i could probably eat two or three by myself regardless if you ever get a chance to come here you're definitely in for a treat
