@hungere-for-diy's Review of Zachary's Chicago Pizza - Pleasanton, CA

Have you been to Zachary's in Pleasanton yet? This is one of the rare places around here where you can get Chicago style pizza. The entrance is on the side so you have to walk along this path to enter. They do have outdoor seating so you can bring your pups. This is the indoor seating area and the bar area. Here's our menu. Their pizzas can be made stuffed or thin depending on which one you get and they have a variety of different drink options. We started with these slushies, the pineapple coconut one was especially delicious. I highly recommend it. I got a Caesar salad. I always get this from here. I love that it comes with sliced baguette as their croutons and their dressing is simply delicious. I decided to try one of their thin pizzas for the first time. Also amazing. I will probably make sure to get a stuffed pizza and a thin pizza whenever I come here moving forward. For the stuffed pizza, I love that we're able to split the flavors even though we got the smallest size. This is always so good. If you haven't tried Chicago style pizza yet, this is what they look like. It's super thick and layered with toppings, cheese, and then topped with sauce on top. Make sure to pace yourself though. The salad comes out quickly, the thin pizza comes out after about 15 minutes, and the stuffed pizza usually takes about 30 minutes. It's totally worth the wait, but I always need to make sure that I leave room for everything and pace myself.
