Have you been to this very Instagrammable hidden old Davenport pier swing in Davenport yet? I've been wanting to come here forever. You park here and I'll drop the coordinates in the description. That's where the swing is and that's the cliff that you have to climb down to get to the swing. Once I walked over to the other side it actually didn't look too bad. They had a rope here to help guide you but I wouldn't recommend putting your weight on it because I have no idea who installed the rope and how sturdy it was. This is definitely a little bit on the dangerous side so proceed at your own risk. Once I made my way down to the swing I realized that you have to hop on before the waves come up. I pretty much have no upper body strength so I may or may not have ruined my brand new veggies but I had already risked my life climbing down the cliff on that little rope so I had to get this shot. I finally did manage to get on the swing and the hubby took a bunch of cute shots. I actually think that the photos he took up close by using the pier as a frame turned out better. Note that the swing chain was pretty rusty so I did end up staining my romper. Don't forget that once you make your way down you have to climb back up the scary cliff. Was it worth it? Yes.
