Here's a day in my life as a solo female traveler traveling to Geneva, Switzerland. I was there only for a short three days but did so much during that time period. I stayed at the Meninger Hotel which was about a 20-minute bus ride to the main center and the transportation was literally outside my door which was so nice and I'm not sure if it's common here but staying here you get a free transportation pass during your stay. The hotel was nice and affordable. I stayed in their private room but you also have the option to do shared dorms if you prefer. i was just in two countries prior that had no asian food choices i opted for vietnamese food for my first meal in switzerland the food was pretty spot on the price tag was not but i highly recommend checking it out for my first full day out i started the day with some breakfast at my hotel and then headed into town some most obvious things to do while visiting geneva is visit the flower clock and see the water fountain which is what i did first this fountain is 140 meters high making it the tallest fountain in the world world. I also stopped by this really cute cafe called Melrose Kitchen and got a midday snack and smoothie while enjoying this view. And afterwards I visited the cathedral which is free to visit but if you want to climb the towers tickets cost about six dollars. Totally worth it if you want awesome views of the city. I will say that it's a bit claustrophobic climbing those stairs and be ready to climb quite a bit. And then later that evening I went on a fun tuk tuk fondue tour around Geneva. I love being able to do unique things around the city. cities that I visit and this was definitely one of them. For one and a half hours, you got to enjoy fondue and wine while exploring the highlights of Geneva on a tuk-tuk. Then on my last day there, I booked a three-hour chocolate walking tour which also covered more highlights of this beautiful city. It was such a lovely tour where we tried a variety of Swiss chocolates. Highly recommend it. And that concludes my trip to Switzerland. I can't wait to go back and visit more cities. Thanks for tuning in.
