Video Transcript

Located in San Diego's North Park neighborhood, this hotel was built in 1946 and has officially reopened following a $31 million restoration. First, you'll find the reception lounge and cafe serving up coffee and pastries. Beyond the reception is the lobby bar, which sits under a sparkling glass atrium and serves New Orleans-style cocktails. Next is Beginner's Diner, which is a 24-hour old-fashioned diner with boozy milkshakes and elevated diner fare. Next, you'll find the gutter, which is stocked with pool tables, shuffleboard, and a two-lane bowling alley. Next is Quixote, a Oaxacan-inspired restaurant in Mezcaleria that was created from a decommissioned Catholic church in Mexico, set with dripping candles and stained glass windows. And now, my favorite part, the pool, which is inspired by the Amalfi Coast in the 1980s. There's a poolside bar and service. to bring your favorite drinks and snacks while you enjoy your day. Save and share with the person you're bringing here next.
