Have you been to Winkle 43 in Amsterdam yet? You can either wait in line to be seated inside or the outside seating is first come first serve. The apple pies here come with whipped cream, which I liked more than an a la mode. Sometimes when you get ice cream with your pie, the sweetness can be overpowering the pie. I think the whipped cream was actually quite perfect. I love the large chunks of apple in this. The apples are perfectly seasoned and even the crust was so delicious. It kind of reminded me of a denser Biscoff cookie. If I could have bought an entire pie home with me, I would have. This was honestly the best apple pie I've ever had in my entire life.
