This is Glastonbury 2023, day two, Thursday. And I started it the way I always do with the world famous Thursday p*** up. The rules here are simple, meet by a tree, wear pink, bring a drink. It's a great way to meet fellow festival goers and try some delicious chilli flavoured shots. Lunchtime now and another Glastonbury favourite from me, the cheese truck with their bacon, stilton and pear chutney sandwich. Wouldn't be a Glastonbury without one. Now over to Woodsy's with its new name for this year, and something I'd never seen before, which was the Toll Puddle Fire Area. Dedicated to the early trade union movement, the Toll Puddle Martyrs, it also features this bridge suspended over the forest that'll let you feel like you've won I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here. The music starts for real tomorrow, so the pyramid stage is still taking shape, but there is plenty to do. Besides, did you find this secret tunnel in the back of the Greenpeace area? It actually leads to the Green Futures Field. Now wearing my new t-shirt made by a fan, thank you OJ, I went off to visit the print shop to look at their new posters before getting this accessory pouch from the police and then heading off to party the night away courtesy of the Block 9 area. And tomorrow's Friday and that's the first full day of music. See you then.
