This is Glastonbury, 2023, day free, Friday, and on a day when I went deep down the rabbit hole and partied under a massive robotic spider. This is Glastonbury. And I'm Dan Thomas. And I started the day off with this authentic Canadian poutine with cheesy chips and barbecue chicken. And then it was time to watch Texas, followed by one of the most speculated upon sets of the weekend. And I'm here at the Pyramid Stage now, and the crowd is getting ready for what might be the Foo Fighters. And sure enough, the mystery churn-ups band from the line-up did indeed turn out to be the Foo Fighters themselves. This was an incredible hour packed full of hits, delivered to an adoring worthy farm audience leading to moments like this. And with the whole set done in just over an hour, sharp-eyed BBC viewers might just have recognised someone they know. Up to the park area now for a special adventure. So we're on a bit of a mission tonight. To get inside the rabbit hole. This is something I've tried and failed to do for a number of years and finally I got in via this rabbit and after crawling through this tunnel there I was in Glastonbury's hidden rabbit hole area it had a number of bars and what could best be described as an Alice in Wonderland style drag show and if you want to get in here I can recommend going when the headliners are on and possibly bring a carrot and this left us best place to check out Arcadia the DJ filled robotic spider that spits out flames I stopped recording at this point which is probably for the best join me tomorrow for day four it's super Saturday
