Have you been to the Heineken Brewery for the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam yet? I didn't have this on our itinerary but we had a bit of extra time so I decided to go at the last minute and I'm so glad I did. We had so much fun here. Upon arrival you get a free locker to store your belongings in and you get some tokens for your beers later. As you go through the various rooms you scan the QR code to listen to the self-guided tour. I think the self-guided tour was actually really good and really well done. I learned a lot about the history of Heineken and just the history of beer in general. I got to see what the brewing process looked like. It was all really fascinating. Towards the end of the tour you have the option of creating a customized Heineken bottle. The tour was surprisingly really interactive and a ton of fun. At the end of the tour you end up in a bar setting where you get to taste various types of Heineken. I would definitely recommend doing this if you're in Amsterdam.
