Have you been to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi yet? Be sure to send them an email 90 days before you come to Kenya to secure your confirmation. Tickets are always reserved in advance so you can't get them the day of. You now have to pay the Nairobi National Park fee before you enter. I tried to pay online before I got here but the website was really confusing and the system was quite slow. Our driver ended up helping us out with this. The elephant nursery is only open to the public from 11 a.m to 12 p.m but I would try to arrive around 9 30. We got here around 10 and after paying and going through all the security checkpoints we barely arrived by 11. Also note that the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is about $20 per person but getting into Nairobi National Park is about $43 per person. That being said I think it was totally worth it. The baby elephants were so stinking adorable. Look how cute they are. We got to see the baby elephants being fed, bathing, playing and just enjoying themselves. The keepers were also super informative so we got to learn a lot about each of the different elephants. The elephants like to toss stir on themselves so I would make sure that you wear something you don't mind getting dusty. Afterwards you have the option to adopt a baby elephant if you want. Adoption can be as little as $50 a year and they had a ton of various souvenirs you could purchase to support them. If you're going to be in Kenya then I highly recommend that you take a trip out here to see the baby elephants.
