Have you been to Mrs. Khan Uyghur Cuisine in Menlo Park yet? This restaurant was founded by two sisters and it's one of the only places where you can get Uyghur food. We started with the pumpkin manta. They only make a limited quantity of these each day so if you're able to order some I would definitely recommend it. The savory beef with a sweet pumpkin was really something. Next up was this gosh naan which was also amazing. It kind of reminded me of a thin crispy roti but it had this really tender beef inside. I could have eaten this whole thing by myself. I also got their stir fry noodles and their logman. The noodles are what really sets this place apart. Their hands stretched so they taste incredibly fresh and they have just the right amount of chewiness. I honestly couldn't get over their noodles. Even as I was editing this video, I started craving them again. To end things, we got a honey cake to share. This was also just so scrumptious, a little sweet, and the cake was just so moist. Last thing was this Uyghur dough. The yogurt was a little tart but super refreshing. I loved it. I had never tried Uyghur food before and was blown away at how flavorful each dish was. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on their menu.
