@tikitube's Review of Ometeo - Tysons, No Place (SANDBOX)

We were super lucky and got invited to Amateo's preview party and we could not wait for this restaurant to open. It's a super chic elevated Tex-Mex restaurant in Tyson's, Virginia. We spent the night trying all their specialty cocktails like the Doble Chile Margarita and the Maverick which has a shot of prosecco on the side. They brought around a bunch of samples of their food like their Mexican street corn, empanadas, fladas, little quesadillas, and more. The whole restaurant is really beautiful and super Instagramable. Upstairs is the Cadillac Ranch bar which has like speakeasy lounge vibes. It has these big couches and it's perfect for hanging out with a bunch of people. Downstairs has different areas with booths and tables and they even have a window where you can watch your tortillas be handmade. They have a beautiful bar downstairs with tons of tequilas and mezcals and it was right up our alley. We had cream puffs and churros for dessert. So good. The party, the restaurant, the employees, everything was a vibe and we highly recommend.
