Look at this wagyu tomahawk, like what? Trying out the meat seller in Claremont, California. Started out with their short rib patine. They used beef tallow to fry their fries. Topped this with super tender short rib and melted pepper jack cheese. Mm, nine out of 10. We also tried their muscle and clams app. This was good. The consensus at the table was we definitely liked the clams over the mussels. The sauce was just missing a little something for us. Seven out of 10. Oh, oh, and they also give a free round of cornbread for the table, which was delicious. 8.5 out of 10. And of course, the main event. This tomahawk was delicious. We ordered medium rare, which they went a little on the rarer side, but still very flavorful. Definitely need to add on the salt. It comes on the board, but at least everyone can salt to their own liking. 8 out of 10. And we paired this with their garlic mashed potatoes, which was the perfect compliment. 9 out of 10. A great meal with great company.
