If you're looking for a unique dining experience in London, you need to watch this. Last weekend, I went to Barge East, a floating bar and kitchen on a 118-year-old Dutch barge on the canal in Hackney Wick. First things first, I love the rustic interior and the casual atmosphere down here. To start, we ordered two of their bespoke cocktails, Margarita and Garden Bench. They're both very refreshing and on the fruitier side. For starters, we got the Cornish crab sando and the razor clam ceviche. The ceviche was delicious, but a bit small for 13 quid. Crab sandal, however, was a showstopper. It was so meaty, so buttery. We couldn't get enough of it. And for the mains, I thought about ordering the fish, but I wanted to try something different. So I went for the rabbit loin and my boyfriend got a steak. We also got a side of cabbage and broccoli to share. And trust me, they are so delicious. For dessert, we got their two most popular dishes, the rice pudding caimou and the apple tart fin to share. It was such a lovely dinner and a cool experience to dine on a boat. So...
