@hungere-for-diy's Review of Broderick Roadhouse - Walnut Creek, California

Have you been to Brodwick Roadhouse in Walnut Creek yet? You know a place is good if you're already making plans to visit again while you're leaving. They had indoor seating and a cute little outdoor seating area too. We started with some drinks. I got a prickly pear lemonade and the hubby got a strawberry cucumber nojito. Nojito instead of mojito, get it? These were so pretty and so refreshing. I always start with a celery stick so that I can tell myself that I'm being healthy. Then I dove into the wings. I had no idea that the orders came with whole wings. I was not expecting that but I loved these. They were hot and juicy on the inside but had a really good crisp to them. And their ranch is house made so you know it's good. We got a couple burgers and a chicken sandwich to share. I ordered the Johnny Cash burger and then I saw this sign. I love ordering something and getting confirmation from a restaurant that you did good. I think this was one of the best burgers I've had. The flavors just blew me away. Then of course we did a burger swap so that I could try the duck burger. The hubby got his with poutine fries. Definitely solid options there too. We also got their buttermilk fried chicken because it sounded so good and it really was. The sauce on this, chef's kiss. And make sure to get their cheese curds. Who doesn't love a fried cheese curd? You'll get some wet wipes because things are going to get messy but this place is totally worth it. I can't wait to go back.
