@enriquejamal's Review of Kura Hulanda Museum - Willemstad, CW

Last Juneteenth, I posted content on this wonderful museum in Curacao that is focused on Black history throughout the world. As we celebrate another Juneteenth, I want to highlight this museum again because I did return there. So many now want to erase the history of our enslaved African ancestors, but it's important that their story be told. And it's just as important that our story after slavery be told and our triumphs be celebrated due to many of our historical black heroes who all fought and sacrificed just so we can have that thing called freedom. And what I love about this museum is that it reminds us that our history did not begin with slavery but in beautiful civilizations in Africa.
