@hungere-for-diy's Review of Bakey - Brookline, Massachusetts

Have you been to Bakey in Boston yet? When my friend found out that I was visiting Boston, she told me I had to visit this place. And I'm so glad that she did because this place just blew me away. Everything here was so amazing. I couldn't get over how delicious every pastry was. The bagels here were some of the softest bagels I've ever had. The sourdough loaf had these big beautiful bubbles that gave the bread a chewy texture with a crisp crust. And the highlight were their babkas. Just look at those lovely layers. They have a few different regular flavors but they also did have some seasonal flavors one too so be sure to check all of them out. Regardless of what flavor you get it's going to be amazing. My favorite was their raspberry one and the hubby's favorite was their almond. It's not difficult to see why everything's so tasty. The pastry chefs were hard at work creating the freshest and most decadent breads. Definitely make sure to grab some coffees to round out your morning and grab a few things to go as well. We traveled back home with a bag of these goodies and they kept really well. I was able to enjoy some of these baked goods for the next week and a half. My only regret? Not getting more cheese sticks to go. Make sure to check them out soon if you're in the Boston area. Their oven's always on.
