Hey, I went to Philly and tried Joe's Steak and Soda Shop, located in the cool area of Fishtown. Operating in Philly since 1949, I can feel and taste the history in this restaurant. Their menu is simple, cheesesteak, sodas, milk, chicken, sundaes. The evening of a pickle bar, I decided to try a steak with Cooper Shop cheddar, mushrooms, banana, peppers, and onions. Check that out. This sandwich did not disappoint. The fresh roll was amazing with a light crunch while the steak itself had a great shot. The Cooper Shop cheese added a perfect kick to the steak while the peppers and onions were fresh and it added a great crunch. Don't leave without trying a steak or the sundae. This is a definite must-train feeling.
