New York City has an amazing new underground Japanese restaurant right in the Financial District. Otani is located on Nassau Street, and if you can't tell, the vibes are immaculate. We had a sushi and sashimi combo, which was delicious, and you can just tell that the fish is so fresh. We also tried the Otani Special Roll and a crunchy snow crab tamaki. Both were incredible, and I had never had tamaki before. It is basically...you would put in like a hand roll but it is shaped like a taco and i just i'm just dreaming about it all the time the katsudon was steaming when it got to the table and the chicken was so crispy and perfect and then of course we had to get the staple tonkatsu ramen which just warmed me up and tasted amazing and i can't wait to go back
