@sunnyonscene's Review of Tambo South Beach - Miami Beach, US

On scene at our new favorite date night spot on South Beach, Tambo at the Gates Hotel. In ancient Peru, a Tambo was a haven and supply post along an important road where people from different cultures would converge for shelter and even eat together. Inspired by people getting together to enjoy a diversity of Latin flavors, Tambo South Beach focuses on Latin fusion with a composed menu of signature dishes and cocktails. We started with two signature cocktails. The first was called Mole. a Woodinville rye cocktail influenced by Mexico's popular chocolate-based mole sauce. The second was Tonka Express, a tip of the hat to the very trendy espresso martini made with Lobos Reposado. We paired a Carmeniere with the main dishes. Everything was delicious, but some of the absolute musts included grilled polpo, spicy tuna, pork belly, and hanger steak with fries. Full menu in the content.
