@jesshhiikka's Review of Stem Japanese Eatery - Burnaby, CA

As much as I'd like to gatekeep this restaurant, if there's one spot I'd want to keep secret, it's Stem Japanese Eatery. My Japanese friend introduced us to Stem back in 2018, and we've been coming back ever since. They serve such unique dishes you won't typically find in other Japanese restaurants in the city. It's a little pricey, but you're paying for quality ingredients and the chef's creativity. I love how they incorporate seasonal ingredients and import their fish straight from Teose Market in Japan. And don't skip dessert here. It's so Asian of me to say this, but it's not too sweet. Just the perfect amount to end the meal. If you want to treat yourself and try something new, I highly recommend checking out STEM. It's hands down my favorite restaurant in the city.
