I can't believe that I didn't know that the national pizza of Zamunda is here at Roots in the South. Where are all my coming to America fans? Roots Handmade Pizza specializes in Quad City style pizza. But not only that, they also have great drink options, mozzarella sticks, wings, salads, and more. The mozzarella sticks are completely made from scratch. They use a handmade and house stretched mozzarella. Now some of the most famous wings in Chicago came from the 50-50. And even though they are no longer there, you can still get their famous wings here. The wings were amazing as always. Now their salads are top-notch. This Southwest Chipotle chicken and avocado salad was so good. Now this pizza is the McDowell and it is the national pizza of Zamundo. I had no idea this even existed. It comes with seasoned ground beef or vegetarian meat, Lewis dressing, fresh mozzarella and cheddar. It's like eating a giant Big Mac on pizza. So for some of the best wings in pizza in the city, definitely stop by. roots.
