@hungere-for-diy's Review of Kakuna Sushi - Fremont, CA

Have you been back to Kakuna Sushi in Fremont yet? I made my first video about this place back in 2023 when I was just getting into social media. My editing was honestly kind of a hot mess back then but somehow that video blew up. Since then, Kakuna has totally transformed. What used to be a tiny hole in the wall is now a neighborhood favorite. They even took over the space next door and expanded the dining area. The food here is incredible and the prices are super reasonable which is rare these days. It's hands down my favorite sushi spot in the area. The menu is massive. There's literally something for everyone. I always try a different roll when I visit because I'm on a mission to try them all. This time I went with the fish and chips and triple tail rolls. Both were amazing, but the take on fish and chips really stood out. Crispy, flavorful, and totally unique. Of course, I had to get some nigiri and sashimi too. The fish here is always so fresh and buttery. It just melts in your mouth. I also ask for extra ginger every time. I'm obsessed with it. And don't sleep on the ramen here. The broth is rich, creamy and packed with flavor. Kakuna just keeps getting better and better.
