Yo, listen up Chicago. Especially you Northsiders. Peep this beach oasis. Aura on the Lake is a beachside restaurant in Edgewater at Osterman Beach serving up delicious frozen cocktails. And you can rent a cabana for $25 per person. Not gonna lie, I had low expectations for the food, but this shit was fire. Stuck with the beach theme and got some fish tacos. Beer batter on point and I'm served with a cilantro lime slaw. Dippin' dem coconut shrimps. Coulda smashed a dozen. They also had some... Sliders, lobster cake sliders with tarragon aioli and arugula. Yo, you ever been served a Sunday B-side in Chicago? Come on now. Did I mention there's a DJ on Sundays? This spot was literally giving me vacation vibes. But I was just kicking it on the north side of Chicago. Look at this cute space. This is definitely one of my new spots for some R&R. Heads up though, they're closed on Tuesdays.
