I just checked out Shamroon in Port Coquitlam and honestly, this was some of the best Persian food I've ever had. Start off with Dug, a yogurt drink that's salty, tangy, and refreshing, and you can get it carbonated or uncarbonated. The highlight of my experience was the warm appetizer plate. I got the Kashk and the Mirza, which are both roasted eggplant dips and both unique in their own way, totally worth it, and the Dolme, which are stuffed grape leaves. They mentioned that they come from a can, but I loved how they dressed them up and docked them. up with fresh garnishes and they really popped then came the tachin morgue which is a saffron rice cake layered with chicken and it was baked into the cutest little heart shape and tons of must and fresh shirazi salad on the side to balance it out the viziri platter came with a skewer of chicken and a skewer of juicy beef with charred tomatoes peppers and fluffy rice and yes every single plate here comes with a little piece of crispy teddy finally the game which was a tomato stew with eggplant and lamb and it was topped with french fries. Happy dance!
