Welcome to Dubrovnik, Croatia. If this place is not on your travel list, you need to add it right now. This little walled city on the coast of Croatia is unreal. Like, it's small, but there is so much packed into it. It's been around since the 7th century, and honestly, every corner looks and feels like a movie set. Well, technically, it is a movie set, because Game of Thrones fans listen up. Dubrovnik was basically King's Landing. They filmed tons of scenes here, including The Walk of Shame. One thing Dubrovnik is really famous for are their massive stone walls. They wrap all the way around the old town and were built over 500 years ago to keep pirates and invaders out. Inside the city walls, there's so much history packed. You'll pass by old monasteries, little churches, and fountains that have been flowing for centuries. Game of Thrones fans, do you recognize this place? We also visited this hidden gem called the Booza Bar, and it's literally built on the side of a cliff. You walk through the little hole in the wall and they serve drinks. One of the best parts is just wandering through the streets and exploring. There are hidden alleys, little shops, stray cats, and plenty of random places to take pictures. We couldn't leave Croatia without trying a barek. We had to stop. It's a flaky, buttery pastry filled with meat, cheese, or even spinach, and it's warm, savory, and delicious. You must try it. And that was only one day in Dubrovnik. From medieval walls and Game of Thrones spots to barek, cliffside bars, and this ridiculously good gelato, Dubrovnik Croatia has it all. Add it to your bucket list now.
