Melbourne, here's your warning, do not watch this if you're hungry, because I've just found the best neighbourhood bakery, it's Alka Bakery in Moonee Ponds. The focaccia alone could start a cult, and the prosciutto baguette was as if an Italian nonna was the modern chef in this creation. Then came the sweets, forget the brookie, the chocolate chip cookie here is the real winner, and this cinnamon scroll deserves to go viral too. The morning bun, it's not a cruffin, not a Danish, not a croissant, it exists in its own divine category and is your next must-eat sensation. My mum's face said it all, with mmm, yum and oh my god on repeat, and yes, I did take a precious slab of that Pocata home like it was a treasured artifact, only for it to be destroyed within hours. It's worth making hype over. I promise.
