Crystal Gao and Mark Chen began Crystal Bakery as an online business in a small studio, but the Chinese-style patisserie has blossomed into a recognizable spot for the inventive pastries in Newton, Massachusetts. Crystal's Bakery has built its reputation on novelty and creativity. Customers like myself step into a shop filled with the trending Chinese-style pastries rarely found anywhere else in Newton. They're known for their famous large mochis with filling inside. This is the strawberry mochi and we also got the mango cream cheese mochi as well texture is fantastic soft not too chewy very light and fluffy they do tend to get busy
