Zoo Lights at the National Zoo in D.C. is a solid move if you're still looking for holiday plans. My baby girl loved it so much, she was running that zoo like she worked there. Straight from one animal to the next. And tickets are $9. And yes, I do remember when Zoo Lights was free. And you could just walk in and out like some of our daddies did throughout our lives. And random flex, my first job out of college was in the zoo's business office, counting cash in the vault. So trust me, I know Zoo Lights.
