You come for the wings, obviously, but do not skip the fried chicken sandwich. Proper Neighborhood Spot. Right on Motor Ave, a tiny little storefront. I found this one on Atmosfy. It's all in the name. Go for the classic lobster roll. Casual, focused, no frills. This place is just a counter downtown. can smell the grill from down the block. That's how you know. Get the combo plate, a lunchtime power move. We walk past a patio into this warm buzzing room in East Hollywood. Everyone seems to know each other. Order the hummus. Any of them. Elevated but not stuffy. This Mar Vista spot looks like a neighborhood bar. Then the food comes out. The squid ink dumplings are a good start. Save these on Atmosfy.
