Slice on Broadway on Center Avenue. Order the New York-style cheese pizza. This one surprised me, Very Neighborhood Pizzeria. Mercurio's in Shadyside. Start with the margarita pizza. Not the classic neighbourhood slice. Proper Neapolitan energy. Okay, Piazza Tallarico and Papa Joe's Wine Cellar is bringing the full pizza table spread. You've got classic margarita pies with basil, then the camera slides right into that white pizza close-up. Next up, The Forge. Look at that slow push into the pizza arugula on top, melted cheese underneath, and a seriously charred looking crust. And yeah, the Purple Orchid cocktail makes the table setup feel extra polished.
