I'm giving the Gourmet Italian at Tucci's Southside Subs a 9.6 and naming it the best sandwich in Austin. This place has been an Austin mainstay since 2008, known for their Italian sandos. The crew is super chill, but they seriously know how to stuff some bread. Prosciutto, capocollo, salami, and ham mix with the other ingredients to create multiple flavor stories in every bite. The best plot point, the sweetness of the mayo and peppers battling the acid of the vinegar. It's like your tastebuds are going from a hot sauna to a cool pool on repeat.
