About the venue
The Acropolis Museum, located at Dionysiou Areopagitou in Athens, features over 4,000 artifacts from the Acropolis and surrounding areas. Opened in 2009, the museum was designed to enhance the visitor experience by displaying items within view of the Acropolis itself. Exhibits include sculptures, pottery, and everyday objects from ancient Greece, which narrate the history of the Acropolis. Special events and educational programs are available to engage a variety of audiences.
