It's time for another food tour, this time in Melbourne, Australia. The food scene here in Melbourne has always intrigued me. So, of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a food tour here too. This is Raffaella, the CEO of the tour company called Flavorhood Tours. Her company offers tours that take you outside Melbourne to multicultural neighborhoods. The food tour that I booked was in a town called Coburg, just 40 minutes away by tram. While Coburg isn't really... city you hear much about when you travel to Melbourne, you can ask any local and they will agree that this is a great spot for Melbourne food. On this three-hour tour we covered eight unique food stops in six different countries. Every place had a unique taste and was bursting with flavors from all around the world. Before this tour I thought I would learn more about Aussie cuisine but I was pleased to discover that Melbourne offers not one but a diverse palette of foods because of the city's diverse population. It goes without saying that there is something for everyone in this city with its electric mix of cuisines.
